Why Chaka?

Microenterprises are key to solving Latin America's fundamental problems.

  • They represent 98% of all businesses.
  • They generate 64% of all jobs.
  • They contribute 30% of GDP.

Despite their importance, these microenterprises struggle to survive. When a female microentrepreneur manages to grow her business, she not only transforms her life and that of her family, but also generates employment and strengthens her community.

Our Model

We increase the profitability of businesses led by women from disadvantaged backgrounds through a 6-step incubation program.

Before incubation, we rigorously identify business talent: in the first phase, we train 200 entrepreneurs in business models; in the second phase, we work with 100 selected entrepreneurs to improve their product quality. Finally, in the third phase, we incubate 50 high-potential women for 6 months. During this stage, they strengthen their financial management, optimize costs, improve their products, expand sales, structure teams, and access capital to scale.
